Review of Snow Cake (2006) by Laura W — 29 Dec 2008
Snow Cake is a moving and thought provoking film. Weaver's portrayal of the perceptions and interactions of a woman with autism are unique-there is no drama here, no political correctness, just a frank character study. Rickman and Moss have believable chemistry and serve well as a contrast to Weaver.
A thought provoking feel good movie.
