Review of Snow Cake (2006) by Grace C — 19 Aug 2007
Congrats, Snow Cake, for making me look stupid for saying I'd never stoop so low as to cry during a film.
Unlike other movies in the same genre (aka "Hey, this is tragic, you should now in accordance feel very depressed"), Snow Cake is surprisingly genuine, meaningful, and beautiful. I do actually mean beautiful in regards to the whole film, not just Alan Rickman's face this time.
