Review of Snow Cake (2006) by John T — 23 Feb 2008
Interesting movie with Alan Rickman, Sigourney Weaver and Carrie-Anne Moss. It's about autism, coping with life & grief ... sounds dry & depressing but this movie is not. Linda (Sigourney Weaver) is funny and amazing.
Alex (Rickman) is coping with the death of his son that he only just found. Maggie (Moss) plays the neighbour with her own set of problems. Set in a small snow-bound town in northern Ontario. Interesting.
