Review of Snow Cake (2006) by Matthew B — 12 Dec 2008
I loved this movie. Alan Rickman, Sigourney Weaver, and Carrie-Ann Moss seemed out of place in a movie mainly populated by Canadian television stars, but all did a good job of portraying their characters (Sigourney Weaver was a little over-the-top with her Asperger's Syndrome, though [Assuming that IS what her high-functioning autism was, and not some other syndrome / disorder] :/.).
When Alan Rickman complains about something, its awesome :P. He complained in "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", and here he's complaining about made up words used in Scrabble :P. His interactions with every other character were amazing aswell and was a joy to watch.
It didn't really have much of an ending, as it didn't really "end"; it felt like it could have easily continued following Alan Rickman's character as it did at the start of the movie. It was out of place, the ending. Probably could have been a few more minutes on the end after where it actually ended :/.
