Review of Snow Angels (2007) by Richard T — 05 Apr 2008
Depressing and deep, Snow Angels is a very well made, and a very entertaining, film. The direction was nothing special during the first act of the film, though technically I was underwhelmed by a lot of the set up; however, the pay off and from the second act on were incredibly engaging and entertaining.
I didn't connect to all of the characters as much as it seeme dthe director would have liked me too, and there were one or two bad performances, but all of the other acotrs and actresses ranged from solid to very good.
Towards the end I was on the edge of my seat even if the film made it obvious about what was going to happen, in a fantastic directing choice, and the last two scenes are perfectly paired. Certianly worth at least one watch.
4.25 probably.
