Review of Snow Angels (2007) by Joe K — 18 Sep 2008
I really enjoyed this film overall, but the ending doesn't work. The final few minutes do, eventhough they are among the most ambiguous scenes I've ever encountered. But the climax makes sense logically, but is completely inconsistent with the poignant exploration of human nature that was the rest of the film.
The climax is a jump into extreme drama and "movie-land" when it should've ended realistically, as that was the main strength of the film.
