Review of Snow Angels (2007) by Lauren L — 10 Oct 2008
Ok, so the movie starts out with a family that is split up, you have the dad trying to get back what he had, he has major emotional issues but so does the wife who is cheating on him with her best friend's husband.
All along a teenage is woven into the story for no real reason in my opinion. The family goes from bad to worse, and its torture. The movie become riveting at moments and I rode it out sure of a better outcome yet the ending was hopeless and sad.
It mocked Christianity and tried to normalize immorality that was tearing people apart. I didn't like this film. It did have potential, but didn't resolve at all, and what was with the sexuality between the teenagers, they really could've been left out of the movie and not changed the feel or meaning of it, pointless.
Most of the characters were nasty especially Beckingsale's character. This is a sad movie, I don't recommend it.
