Review of Snow Angels (2007) by Alec B — 16 Oct 2008

For the first 3/4 of the film I was thinking that this was one of the best movies of the year. But the films climax between Kate Beckinsale's and Sam Rockwell's characters seems out of place, even forced into the film.

I didn't believe that these characters would do that at that particular moment in time. The rest of Snow Angels has such a slice of life feeling to it, and the dark violence didn't seem to belong here.

Still I'd recommend it on the basis of the strong performances.
