Review of Snow Angels (2007) by Wes L — 30 Nov 2008
David Gordon Green's Snow Angels is an amazingly powerful film that haunts your mind long after it is through. All the performances are extraordinary. Kate Beckinsale (Click) proves she is a serious actress, taking on an extremely difficult role (I won't say any more).
Sam Rockwell (Choke) shows why he's one of the most talented, yet underrated actors working today, playing a suicidal father. Michael Angarano (Sky High) and Olivia Thirlby (Juno) also shine, delivering one of the sweetest on-screen relationships in recent memory.
Though it may be tough to stomach at the end, Snow Angels is definitely worth your time.
