Review of Snow Angels (2007) by Jorge R — 31 Jan 2009
An amazingly acted, and sometimes suspenseful drama, with real down to earth dialogue. The story's mainly surround Arthur (Angarano) and Annie (Beckinsale), Arthur was once babysat by Annie, and now the two work together.
Annie's husband (Rockwell) is trying to get his life together, as the two are seperated, while Arthur has his eyes on Lila (Olivia Thirlby, best know for her role in "Juno"), and she also has his eyes on him.
The blossoming love between Arthur & Lila makes for some of the movies most pleasent moments. However, tragedy strikes midway through the film, and the consquences it has, will change there lives forever.
The movie has everything, and Beckinsale delivers her best performance here. Rockwell is good as alawys, but I have to give major propts to both Angarano & Thirlby, both major rising talents.
