Review of Snow Angels (2007) by Tim B — 16 Feb 2009
Kate Beckinsale is my favorite actress, so I thought I would check out a lesser known film by her called Snow Angels. The plot in the film is somewhat predictable. You have Beckinsale in the middle of an ex husband/new boyfriend triangle along with the sudden disappearence of her child.
The acting by Rockwell and Beckinsale are supurb and as a drama this movie fulfills. The movie is probably one of the darkest most depressing movies ive ever seen. One thing I do not like about the movie is they portray Christianity bad.
The ex husband is a lunatic who pretends to love God and be "born again." Other than that and a few questionable scenerios for high schoolers, this film is great and I would recomend it highly.
After seeing this film and Nothing But the Truth, I have a new respect for Beckinsale as an actress.
