Review of Snow Angels (2007) by Brynn H — 03 Aug 2009

"Snow Angels" was well-written, well-acted, and the cinematography was beautifully done. However, after watching the movie I sat there wondering why it was worth seeing. The backstories to the characters were so slim that it was hard to understand how they got to where they were.

There seemed to be little that could be learned from the film and little that could be extolled in it. It felt like mindless entertainment to me, in this case less entertainment and more shared hopelessness, but mindless nonetheless.

In the end, not one I'd recommend.
