Review of Snow Angels (2007) by Tree T — 21 Oct 2009

This started a little slow and almost lost me - I gave it another half star for the 3rd act turning point and climax. In fact, all the action happened at the end of the film. The first 2/3rds focused mostly on set up.

Rockwell did a nice job of playing the broken down, turned psychotic ex. Actually, only some of the characters were well developed, and I found Kate Beckinsale a tad cold and one dimensional. It's interesting these type of stories can be relatively believeable coming from U.

S. cinema, yet here in Australia, we could never pull off a story like that and make our audiences believe it.. must be the whole gun prohibition thing.. A touch dark.. Ok kinda film...
