Review of Snow Angels (2007) by Se7Enth A — 28 Feb 2010
A David Gordon Green movie, that started out depressing and it kept getting worse. A movie about relationships, the lost hopes, the disintegration of it, there is no saccharine sweet sentimentality. The talents here are all very good especially Sam Rockwell in his best performance.
Starkingly realistic and convincing. But I do not want to recommend this bleak and tragic flick. With its moments of piercing sadness in some scenes, although it is a worthwhile drama, it is difficult to watch.
