Well-written and well-acted, particularly from Kate Beckinsale and Sam Rockwell (when will that guy get his due?). This film hits every emotion, although the search for the child in the third act feels against the rest of the film's grain.
The prog rock score is cool. I'd say overall, this works well as an emotional film, despite its imperfections. And the ending left me asking wtf just happened.
