The Rock really tries to seem like a normal average Joe in this movie. It does not work. He still walks hard like in Walking Tall and every moment that goes by I was waiting for him to put someone through a wall or table.
Doesn't happen. This movie follows this, super huge, average father as he tries to free his son from the horrible mandatory minimum sentences. This character driven movie ended up being a hell of a lot better than I originally expected and the entertainment factor is at a steady high the whole time.
It's focus remains on morality from beginning to end.
