Review of Snitch (2013) by Alvin Y — 01 Aug 2013
Dwayne Johnson proves again that his movies are worth something not just action shootouts, car chases, macho to macho showdown, but also about how he relates to some characters as well. In Snitch, which is inspired by true events, he somehow becomes a hero and a father that most of his movies didn't try to.
Yup, remember The Game Plan where he is a football player with a young girl, well forget about that. Here, he even took the riskiest job there is in order to save his son from being convicted wrongfully.
I know this would be a cliched predictable film till the end, and it is, but have we somehow felt in ourselves what would we do if we're John Matthews? So then, I think if you're a fan of this Dwayne Johnson guy AKA The Rock, then check this out.
