Review of Sneakers (1992) by Caleb M — 14 Jun 2008
Fun spy thriller with a genial, lighthearted vibe. Redford is likeable and believeable, and Aykroyd, Poitier, Phoenix and Strathairn are excellent as other memebers of his little team. I particularly enjoyed Strathairn's blind audio specialist.
Two scenes that stick out: Redford needs to steal a answering machine while moving at only 2 inches per second, and Strathairn blindly drives a car through a parking lot. Other than those few scenes and some other fun little moments, this is just an average spy flick.
