One part lighthearted comedy and two parts pulse-pounding technothriller, Sneakers is way ahead of its time. Made in 1992, this movie is definitely a clear precursor to many thrillers of today, such as Enemy of the State, Live Free or Die Hard, and Eagle Eye.
It's very entertaining and it's definitely a lot of fun, and it's got a helluva star-studded cast. Redford, McDonnell, Aykroyd, Kingsley, Poiteir, Strathairn, Phoenix, and James Earl Jones even shows up at the end! If you like thrillers, you'll love this movie.
