Not nearly as bad as the scathing user and critical reviews would suggest, ultimately this is just one of those "bad comedies" that's perfectly competent but totally uninspired. I will admit I laughed quite a bit over the course of the film, especially during the first act - there are also some supporting characters who are straight up GOLD.
Chris Meloni's part is brief but incredible, for example. The plot starts to fall apart about half way through, and I definitely checked out, but who watches a comedy like this for the plot? Grab a couple friends, a couple shots, and have a decent time with this one.
