Review of Snatched (2017) by Tom T — 09 May 2017
Amy Shumer isn't an actress. She's a brand. If you like her stand-up routine you'll like parts of this movie, but the same script and plot problems that one half of the writing team created in the Ghostbusters reboot last year, are back in this movie.
Add to that the facts that Shumer isn't endearing (even though the movie wants you to think she is) and Goldie Hawn's considerable comedic gifts are mostly under wraps, you get an unfunny tour through a weak buddy road trip.
