Review of Snatch (2000) by Drake T — 27 May 2011
Honestly, I'm tired of all these British crime films. They all have the same setup: a comically-violent storyline in which everyone fucks up completely while trying to achieve the same goal, leading to an unlikely, yet hilariously over-the-top confrontation at the end, where usually only one side is left standing; additionally, the film must be narrated from start to finish by the main character, who is usually a veteran criminal of some sort who seems to be the only sane person in an insane world; also, ninety percent of these films must be directed by Guy Ritchie and star Jason Statham.
Some of them are good, but this one isn't.
