Its hard to not appriciate a movie like this. Its goofy, unbelievable, over dramatic, and completely ludicrous in every sense. But this is completely its intent. It might have the best title of any movie ever, and it delivers exactly what it says it will.
Samuel L's overly serious performance is so tounge in cheek that you almost forget its supposed to be tounge in cheek. I'm particularly fond of the kid friendly basic cable edit of this movie, in which Jackson proclaims: "I have HAD IT with these MONKEY-FIGHTING SNAKES on this MONDAY/FRIDAY PLANE!" Ridiculous movie, and its all the better for it.
