The movie takes itself too seriously for it's own good. It had it's b-movie moments of cheese and random humour which I loved.
But I think they should have made the budget tighter and concentrated less on the back story and characters. Because in the end of the day, the fans only wanted to see Sam Jackson kick ass.
However, it did deliver Sam Jacksons line perfectly (the fact that it looks so out of place adds to its greatness) and a snake bites a guy's dick.
