Review of Snakes on a Plane (2006) by Liam C — 06 Mar 2015
It was fun to see this again, Snakes on a Plane fulfils its promise and has snakes and they are, indeed, on a plane. That title, man, jeez, no wonder the Internet blew up when this was announced. This is a very fun and goofy movie that has a lot of humour and really delivers on its premise.
The first 30 minutes was all about building up characters, which was nice, and this movie certainly does have a great cast led by the always great Samuel L. Jackson, Nathan Phillips stars alongside him who does a good job and kept reminding me of Michael C.
Hall and could pass as a stunt double or impersonator, easily. I was interested to see where it would go next, it had a good sense of humour and I just had a good time with it. I was quite shocked when the snakes were introduced, though, I've seen this before but it was some time ago and I just thought they'd just be silly, but no! It was surprisingly bloody, but then again, it is a B movie, so it's all good and is actually explained well.
It was still awesome though, this movie is just fun, it's actually really unique and it also has one of the best lines in history. What more can I say?
