Review of Snake Eyes (1998) by Mike W — 11 Sep 2010

This one does have some flaws. As a conspriacy thriller its more concerned about the ramifications of a conspiracy rather than who did it, which hurts the suspense, but its a very under-rated melodrama.

Its many elaborate flashbacks and tracking shots are wonderful, its hero does everything for the wrong reasons, its villain has a legitimate point of view, and the drama is aimed at two old friends ready to clash.

Worth a look.
