It will prevail as a cult classic, I have seen it three times and can't tell you what it's about because it makes itself convoluted, but the ending scene will be in my mind forever. it's pulpy and dumb and weird at times, but the ridiculous characters are played so well.
the problem is you don't realize how forgettable it is until you watch it again and realize you forgot it.
