Smokey & The Bandit 2.

So, here we are again. This time I will cut the crap though, and get right to it.

Ok, this movie was not as good as the original, simply because the script (or screenplay if you will) was poorly written. Not to mention the fact that it was basically the same as the first one. Still, it was a good movie and here is what is so good with it.

It was filled with camaraderie, rivalry, fairly good contrasts and more of those factors that are important for a movie to be good, great, awesome or better. This one had more and better stunts than the first one had. If I am not completely wrong, which I very well may be with my memory-problem to call it that, it had fewer funny comments and moments, but those which were added to the movie were better than great and hilarious. *he said while chuckling inside*.

There were some new characters and obviously some new actors in this one though. You had the brothers of the sheriff Buford.T. Justice, Reginald and Gaylord. Also officers of the law, and they are also sheriffs if I am not mistaken. And you have Joe Klecko as himself, meaning a mean, mean trucking machine doing his part to make the movie a blast.

And it had some fine, fine music in it. One thing that the sequel had that the first one didn't is country legend Don Williams himself, in the flesh, which was a nice touch, not to mention all the other extremely likeable music in the movie.

As I said it was not all goodies and candy bars. I mean, how likely is it that Buford can hear what they say on the radio sometimes, while sometimes he can't? Hm? That too drags the movie down a peck. And the other things I mentioned earlier in the review.

Time to rap it up. It was good, not superb, but still a good movie, worth watching. It had comedy that makes you drop your glasses. And it has car and truck stunts so smashing, you have to pinch yourself to believe it. Not to mention love, temptation, a jealous pregnant elephant, an Italian alcoholic doctor whose worries about his patients in Miami suddenly disappeare at the same time as a bunch of hundred dollar bills appeared in his hand. It also had racing, betting, runaway brides, "Frogs", fat and lazy dogs and police cars flying, crashing, getting wrecked and actually getting dumped in the trash. Not to mention the beautiful black Trans-am that flies through the streets like a jet through the clouds in the sky.

Alright then. Time for my rating, I am going to give this good movie, based on what's written above this, 6 out of 10 stars.

Now goodnight, sleep tight and whatever you do, do not let them bedbugs bite.

Peace & Love.

Yours Truly.
