One of my guilty pleasure movies. Love this movie. Love everyone in this movie. Love everything about this movie. ITs redneck through and through but Burt and Jackie are so much fun. The #1 actor from the 70s era doing what he and the character does best, SHOWOFF.
This movie was origianlly release only in the south and was 2nd in money behind Star Wars for the year. Just think how movie history might have changed if it had that nation wide release. Many people make fun of this movie and the Rocky movies now but I Dont know anyone that dont watch it or some of it everytime its on tv and there is a reason why both film series gets shown alot.
Bacause men watch them religiously no matter how un politally correct it may be.
