Man & friend are challenged to illegally deliver a freight load of beer from Texas to Georgia in 28 hours, meets bride on the way back, police on their tail, carnage.
Entertaining & quick one-liner car smash fest with Burt Reynolds doing what he does best backed up well by Jerry Reed & the lovely Sally Field.
Jackie Gleason definitely steals the show though as the bad-tempered Buford T.Justice with some very funny lines & great delivery.
The plot is very simple, Police driving is abysmal but good fun & some great stunt driving.
