Review of Smoke Signals (1998) by Huntleyr. — 08 Apr 2009
A story completely lacking in originality or emotional depth, Victor, played with robotic exhibition by Adam Beach, goes in search of his father who abandoned him when he was a boy. The jokes barely evoke a chuckle, the flashbacks are clumsily positioned and poorly executed, and if the wooden acting doesn't put you to sleep, the sappy dialogue will.
