Review of Smoke Signals (1998) by Tr O — 29 Jun 2008
I always meant to watch this--only took me 10 years! A nice little movie with some fresh devices/attempts to be less of a "white" Hollywood movie. The funny thing is it's based on a book by Native American Sherman Alexie, who testified as a regular fan for at the Seattle Sonics hearing the day after I watched this (see everything does relate back to sports).
I've had it from Netflix for 6 months; now finally someone else can watch it!
