Review of Smile (2021) by Karenlevy — 12 Oct 2022
My daughter Cecil was very excited to see the movie “smile”. I said to her that sound like a nice movie, but when I looked it up on my apple MacBook computer I was horrified but the trailer. It made me sick to my stomach (sicker then when my ex husband ran off with his secutary).
I forbid her to watch it, but her friends peer pressured her into it (classic Amiee always trying to be the queen bee). When my darling cecil came out of the cinema I got a call from her and she was absolutely livid.
She wailed down the phone and I had to come and pick her up. As soon as I got there I saw a bunch of traumatised teen girls & had to drive all of them home. This was 3 WEEKS ago- and she has slept in my bed ever since.
I tried to take her outside the house for a walk, but she refused. Well now I am paying £200 a hour for a trauma therapist and she said she has never seen a reaction this terrible. To the producers of the movie I say DARN YOU.
Celil now had to defer her university place to next year and is wearing adult diapers.
