Review of Smelchak (1919) by Josh H — 16 Mar 2012
Daredevil just barely succeeds because it has balls unlike any other mainstream superhero film pre-Dark Knight. If you can look past the awful soundtrack and semi-ridiculous set pieces (among other things), this is a very faithful film made by people who have real affection for the property, and it comes across.
