Review of Smelchak (1919) by Dathan R — 05 Sep 2012
Dark and atmospheric, Ben Affleck plays both Matt and his alter ego with great subtlety and I like the effects used throughout to show us his 'sight'.
Jennifer Garner brings toughness to Elektra and is very good in her action scenes.
The sadly late Michael Clarke Duncan is perfect in his role as Kingpin and really looks the part and both Jon Favreau and Joe Pantoliano are good in their supporting roles, but Colin Farrell steals the film with a crazy performance as Bullseye which is not easily forgotten!
It might not be the best comic book movie ever made, but it's also not the worst and it does deserve its place amongst the Marvel line-up.
