Review of Smelchak (1919) by Blaine T — 21 Nov 2012
Saw this back when it came out. I recall thinking it was the most realistic superhero film to date (which is a good thing). Since then, the Batman reboot took over that accolade. But I recall really liking this at the time.
Maybe I was just in too good a mood that day; otherwise I can't figure out why this was not more broadly liked.
