Review of Smashed (2012) by Brad S — 09 Nov 2012
An interesting look at a pair of young married alcoholics and how their marriage and lives crumble under the weight of the booze. While beautiful shot inan almost documentary-like style, the film failed to get me invested in the characters.
They just don't seem to really care about themselves or each other enough to lift them above their problems. But this is a nicely crafted indie film worth a watch.
