Review of Smashed (2012) by Zack F — 15 Jun 2013
Mary Elizabeth Winstead is absolutely fantastic as a woman trying to get on the right path after battling alcoholism for many years. Her husband played wonderfully by Aaron Paul plays her husband. The two have great scenes together and are a joy to watch.
This film felt so real and lots of lessons can be learned. I liked Nick Offerman's role as well. He is a welcome addition in any cast. Winstead has a lot going for her if she continues to take roles like these.
