It wasn't terrible, but typical of this kind of film we had half an hour, 45 minutes of whimsical scene-setting and character interaction before anything significant or fun happened. Yes, we've got to see what these people's lives were like before they changed, but shorthand please, shorthand!

I guess there's more to like here than to hate, and it's one of the few Sarah Jessica Parker things in which she isn't a massive drain on my anger sac, so let's be grateful for that, and say more.
