A fun, entertaining family movie--my 10 year-old daughter and I enjoyed it. The story is sweet and relatable. The cast (led by James Corden) is solid. The music was okay, but the plot overcomes the score's mediocrity.
In an era of predictable, formulaic kids movies, I felt this one hit the right notes.
