Review of Smallfoot (2018) by Jim C — 07 Oct 2018

I was very impressed with this movie. Not only was it fun and funny, but very original idea and a surprisingly well thought out plot. It had a little bit of something for everybody. There was a little bit of music (but not too much to disinterest kids), comedy and a good moral.

The premise of discovering yetis from the point of the view of the yeti was creative and interesting one it's own, but then they actually wrote a really good story. It was more complex than I thought it would be, but not too much to where my kids didn't understand it.

I think the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is Common was a horrible choice for a voice actor. Every time he spoke (which was quite a bit), it took me out of the movie. But I was impressed with Lebron James' voice acting.

It took me a second to realize it was him.
