Pretty much everything involving actual humans sucks, but the stuff with the toys is usually pretty cool. I particularly like the scene with the mutilation of the Gwendy dolls, that was a cool and creepy homage Frankenstein.
The script, relationships and acting all leave something to be desired, but the special effects are pretty good.
