Review of Slums of Beverly Hills (1998) by Teresa S — 21 Sep 2008
This was a good story - perhaps just not enough story to fill the gap of two hours but enjoyable performances none the less especially by Arkin and Tomei. A single father with 3 children (and one wayward adult niece) struggles to keep his children in the "better" Beverly Hills School system by living in motels just inside the city limits.
Coming of age story through the daughter in the film played by Natasha Lyonne and a story of "family" in general. Caught this one free here at Flixter.
