Review of Slumdog Millionaire (2008) by Stefan K — 27 Apr 2012
Ok so this movie got a ton of flack for winning the Oscar... Lots of people saying that it was a PR stint for the academy, blah blah blah... Well guess what? It's a great film that deserves more love for the authentic Bollywood feel and the grittiness of the slums in India.
Not to mention the lengths that anyone, no matter what hand they've been dealt will try and achieve their dreams.
