Review of Slumdog Millionaire (2008) by Jordan P — 25 Oct 2012
First off the sound track kicks some ass. I am really into the music from this country it has really opened my eyes. A truly eye opening experiance in the persuit of love as well. Jamal will go down along with Atticus Finch as truly one of the greatest strong hearted fictional characters in all of literature and film.
I love the way the story evolves in this movie from something so small to something so complex to right back to simplistic all along. Danny Boyle truly did his homework on this one. Go see this movie.
The best way to describe this movie is like watching the 1998 Yankees. They don't have the greatest one true superstar player on the team but everyone is so consistent it ends up being one of greatest of all time with the combination of everyone no matter how small their part of contribution.
It proves that no matter where you come from in life we control where our destiny takes us if we put ourselves on the line for it.
