A landmarmark of great filmmaking. At its heart, Slumdog is a story of love and redemption. Boyle is able to take these classic cinema elements an morph them into something truly unexpected and beautiful.
It goes without saying that the acting is top-notch. What makes this film great is Boyle's seemingly innate ability to weave an emotionally complex and ultimately satisfying story.
