Review of Slumdog Millionaire (2008) by June C — 17 May 2013
Still not as good as 127 hours but still a very good film. This film offers something not seen on screen before now, a lovely presentation of fantasy and love mixed with the reality of slum living in India and the juxtapositions of democracy and criminality in local government.
This might have been a Bollywood production with its moments of love and fantasy, the vibrant color.
