SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE (2008).
This film was produced by Danny Boyle and released in 2008. Dev Patel has the main role. It's a British film produced by the company Celador Films. This film have the same style than boliwood film's. This film met a great success and has received 8 Oscar, including that the Best film.
The story begins with Jamal Malik (Dev Patel), a young Indian from Juhu slums, who is a finalist in the Indian version of the game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire ?
The film is happening in India where Jamal and Malik two abandoned child try to survive. During his passage at "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire ?" Jamal gives the answer of all the questions and win the famous million. Jamal explains why he knew the answers. Each question remembered him an event of his life. At the same time, he lives a love story with Latika.
I would give this film 3 stars because I love the romantic story. But this story is long and the film is sometimes boring. I recommend this film because the story has one moral: the money doesn't make everyone happy and nevertheless, through this game Jamal could meet the happiness.
