Review of Slumdog Millionaire (2008) by Ross — 29 Dec 2008
The point of the movie is boring. Its 2009 and Im still watching movies about humans trudging around on earth. At this point in time, the viewer and critic MUST take into consideration, the TIME in which we live in, I am not interested in plots, even with high quality, that involve feeble comparisons between rich and poor, and young modesty for the rules and grandiose randomness primitive civilization sometimes presents.
I crave something innovative, constructive, and complex; in complexity simplicity can be established, at any point, for a common viewer, in 2009 I expect more from all entertainment genres. I am not a troglodyte.
