Slumdog Millionaire is a movie mixed between Hollywood and Bollywoood realized by Danny Boyle, who gives a strong, moving and wonderful film by the story and the roles. Jamal Malik, an 18 man, an orphan living in Mumbai's shanties, is about of winning the incredible gain of 20 millions roupies in the Indian version of the TV game"Who wants to be a Millionaire". This young tea waiter arrives at the last question but, at this moment, he is taken to the police station because of cheating. Interrogated by the policemen, Jamal explains where he learnd all his knowledges and where he lived younger, his family's problems and even the girl he felt in love with and how he lost her. But the questions are why is Jamal participating to this type of broadcast and how did he reached into this broadcast's finale ?

Slumdog Millionaire is the masterpiece of Danny Boyle. The britannic director chose to do his movie with the Bollywood's style with typical songs, some magnificent landscapes, a fascinating story and with all unknown but talented actors. Slumdog Millionaire's script is adapted of the Q&A's book by Vikas Swarup, so the movie has got an original and especially captivating scenario which shows step by step the fascinating story of Jamal who lived in the slums, became orphan, had been used by men to beg in streets and finally met the love of his life (who is still searching). The movie draws us early into this wonderful and affectingly story. The Jamal's life is told by means of questions where we learns how he got the right answer of the game through his life experiences, it's a great and an original idea with some suspense sometimes. This film gets also wonderful songs, like the final dancing moment which is epic. The actors are all excellent, especially Dev Patel as Jamal adult and Freida Pinto who plays the wonderful Latika older. The casts are hundred percents Indian actors like Anil Kapoor (as the game's presenter) or even Irrfan Khan (as the investigator who questions Jamal).

The moments I prefered in this movie are : first when , after many years, Jamal and his brother Salim met them again because this brothers' relationship touched me. Finally, when Salim said to Latika to escape herself and that he was sorry for all. Boyle engaged viewers' emotions whith this.

Slumdog Millionaire is a masterpiece representation of India and will stay one of the best movies in the 2000's. It's why I recommend Slumdog Millionaire to everybody who never seen it.
